Illusory Worlds

This exhibition presents a distinctive selection of Chinese contemporary art that teases the senses and invites a closer inspection. From the dreamy, playful sculptures of award-winning artist Zhang Hua and the dramatic, dense images of Liang Chang Sheng, to the exaggerated floating figures of Lu Peng, each artwork is imaginatively charged. Also part of the showcase are the imposing canvases of the much sought after artist Jiang Huan which are alluringly real, richly detailed and yet full of mystique. Together the works of the four artists erupt with colour, movement and come alive with layers of stories. It promises to be a treat to behold.
