Katrin's fascination with colours and forms in nature inspire the creation of her paintings. Her artistic sensibility stems from her contact with flora and fauna in different countries she visited. Her brushwork is reminiscent of impressionism and the evocativeness of her paintings arises from the sensitive use of colour. Pleasing to the eye, the elegant lines of Katrin's works imbue the works with a lustrous beauty, even as the subjects remain simple.
